The 2023 LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize exhibition

The 2023 LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize exhibition, an event meticulously crafted over almost a year, opens its doors to the public at The Noguchi Museum in New York. Running from May 17 through June 18, the exhibition shines a spotlight on the works of 30 finalists handpicked from a pool of thousands of submissions.

In January 2023, an expert panel assembled in Madrid for the daunting task of reviewing the submissions. Armed with their keen eye for technical prowess, innovative expression, and artistic vision, the panel had the challenging task of narrowing down the thousands of submissions to a shortlist of the most exceptional works. The results were 30 unique pieces that capture the essence of craft and artistic imagination.

Han Dong's sculpture "Rebirth" will be exhibited as one of the finalists. This intriguing work reflects the subtle intricacy of craftsmanship and the raw power of artistic expression.

The LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize exhibition invites everyone to witness the pinnacle of craftsmanship, where the boundaries of art and craft blur and meld into each other, creating a realm where imagination, skill, and creativity are celebrated.
